I called Haybrook on Friday 17th August, and later Charlotte called in on the way home to drop off the information pack about selling our home, She kindly had time for a cuppa explaining the process without going into too much detail, We found her very helpful and friendly and has a very reassuring manner. Today Steven called in providing us with information on how things will be progressed including agent and Solicitors fees, as well as the a valuation of our home which we are very pleased with, also saying if we had any queries or needed any help then not to hesitate by calling the Gleadless office. very pleased with service provided by the staff, it has been a difficult time for us having to sell our parents property, Steve and the rest of the team have treated us with the upmost respect after our loss. Selling a house can be a very stressful situation, particularly when a quick sale at the best possible price is required. This was the situation my mother found herself in after being admitted into a nursing home on a permanent basis after having a spell in hospital as a result of a nasty fall.On contacting Haybrook I was immediately offered a free valuation and a visit was arranged by Kelly of the Gleadless branch in Sheffield. Kelly was very professional in her explanation of the Haybrook approach and she gave me extreme confidence that the house sale would be concluded in a timely manner.From there I mostly dealt with Melanie, senior negotiator, once again of the Gleadless branch, and then latterly Joanne, senior sales advisor, as the sale progressed.Haybrook, and particularly the people mentioned above, provided an excellent service at all times. Haybrook arranged all viewings and negotiations, keeping me informed throughout the process, helping me with my queries and any concerns I may have had.Ultimately, the house was sold at a price my mother was very pleased with, and within the timescales Kelly first indicated.My mother and I are very happy customers, and have had no hesitation in recommending Haybrook to friends and family.

Rebecca, I just wanted to say that I have bought and sold more than 9 houses in the last 15 years and during that time had lost all confidence in both estate agents and solicitors until I dealt with you and your colleagues at Haybrook. You were there all the way and added that personal touch that I have not experienced in an estate agent before. I never felt uncomfortable telephoning you for information or an update. You were never made to feel like a nuisance, although I am sure I was once or twice! My sister and mother also commented on how nice and friendly you were when they came to the viewings. I decided to choose Haybrook to sell my property as they had a good knowledge of Gleadless Valley and seemed to have sold a lot of properties in the area. I found Mel, who handled the sale, to be friendly and approachable and happy to discuss any queries. She was very professional and I valued her advice. She kept me informed on a regular basis about viewings and made sensible suggestions about what I could do to help progress the sale. Although it took longer than I had expected to achieve this sale she managed to negotiate a very good price for the property in the end which I thought was great. The property was on the market less than a week. Rebecca and Kelly were very helpful at offering advice in how best to present the property. The promotional material made it stand out against rival properties. I was amazed at how quickly viewings were arranged and a sale was achieved. Mel handled the offer from the vendor and I was delighted when she called me to say that she had achieved a sale price in excess of the asking price. From start to finish everyone at the Gleadless branch were excellent, with updates and finding ways to ensure the sale completed as quickly and smoothly as possible. The aftersales service was first rate, I always felt that the process was being managed efficiently and in very capable hands. Rebecca, Sue, Mel and Kelly have extensive knowledge of what sells in the area, which type of buyers are looking in an area and how best to achieve an efficient sale at the best price. In addition they are a total pleasure to work with. As far as I'm concerned they are the premier agent and branch in the area. I'd recommend them to anyone wishing to market a property for sale, and they would always be my first choice.

Mel, I just wanted to pass comment relating to our satisfaction with the service given to us by Haybrook throughout the recent property purchase.My daughter and I began house hunting in Sheffield this year. We viewed several properties which were listed with a range of estate agents, but were struck by how helpful Mel of Haybrook was during viewings. Her knowledge of the local area was extremely helpful to us in drawing up a short list of properties, and we were very grateful to her for her patience when we returned for second viewings of these houses.We made offers on three houses, and again appreciated Mels support and advice as we received the responses to these offers.Once our offer was accepted, we were passed over to Joanne who was to guide us through the actual purchase. We found Joanne helpful and patient, answering our many questions and liaising on our behalf with the vendors. Unfortunately, in spite of the fact that I was a cash buyer and the vendor did not live at the property, the process of completing the purchase was far from straightforward and we were incredibly grateful for Mels ongoing support and advice. From the acceptance of our offer to the completion of the purchase in September, we really appreciated the support given to us by the staff at Haybrook estate agents, particularly the help given by Mel. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending the service given by Haybrook estate agents.

Dear Haybrook, I completed the purchase of my property and would like to leave feedback on my experience dealing with the Gleadless, Sheffield Haybrook team.Rebecca Kay was the agent dealing with my interest in a number of properties in the area over the last few months. I found Rebecca to be professional, polite and easy to work with throughout the process.There were also two occasions where I almost lost the deal due to the mortgage offer in principle I had been provided with, and also when the lender undervalued the property.Rebecca was fast to respond and assist me in both these tricky periods which allowed me to resolve the issues and complete the purchase.
